DUNAPARK
Dunapark at Pozsonyi út 38-42 in the Újlipótváros district is a complex of luxury apartments plus a restaurant which overlook the Danube river (click here for photos). Both the restaurant and the interior lobbies are very stylish, with quality materials and finish which soften the hard modernism of the exterior. It was designed in 1936 by Béla Hofstätter and Ferenc Domány whose architecture was popular in this middle class intellectual area in the 1930s, and today.

NAPRAFURGO UT
Napraforgó út- Sunflower Way – is a street of houses in the suburb of Pasarét that was built as a single estate in 1931. A group of modern architects designed the 22 small villas for the Budapest Public Works Council, as worker housing.
